Filter test
In recent years, more and more foreign customers require domestic manufacturers to provide ASHRAE52.2 test report when purchasing filters and air purifiers, and Shangdu Certification has also handled the test report for many export enterprises. Introduction to ASHRAE 52.2 standard ASHRAE52.2- "Method for Testing General Ventilation Air Cleaning Equipment based on Particle Size Efficiency", which specifies methods for measuring and reporting particle size efficiency in the range of 0.3 to 10um. Efficiency data were obtained by measuring 12 groups of particle sizes. The particle size efficiency was measured on a really clean filter sample and re-measured after adding each of the 5 dust loads. The loading dust is ASHRAE synthesis test dust, in fact, each standard its dust sampling is different, and then six efficiency measurements to observe the minimum efficiency in each group of particle size, to convert it into a new set of values, called minimum combined efficiency. These 12 values were then divided into three groups of four particle size ranges. The three groups included particle sizes ranging from 0.3 to 1.0um, 1.0 to 3.0um, and 3.0 to 10.0um. Then the average value of the four values in each group is taken, and the average efficiency of the three combinations obtained is expressed by E1.E2.E3 respectively.

ISO16890 standard content The standard content consists of 4 parts: 1) Technical specifications, requirements and classification system based on particle size filtration efficiency; 2) Classification efficiency test and flow resistance test; 3) Determination of weighing efficiency and relationship between flow resistance and change of dust content; 4) Electrostatic elimination method and determination of the minimum classification test efficiency.
