Pipe insulation materials FM certification
Summary:
For thermal insulation materials used to cover non-combustible pipelines and ducts, such as rubber and plastic insulation materials, foam cotton, and insulation cotton, if these materials have sufficient combustibility, it may lead to the rapid spread of fire along the pipelines and ducts wrapped in these materials. Additionally, mechanical piping systems used for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration sometimes also require insulation to achieve maximum operational efficiency. If your materials are intended for the above purposes and you wish to apply for FM certification, you need to apply according to FM4924. If the insulation materials are used for cleanroom ducting, they must also meet the requirements of the FM4910 cleanroom flammability testing program. If you would like to know the cost of FM certification for pipeline insulation materials, please provide the following information: type of material, size range. If you need more information, please send an email or call.
