How long is the UL certificate valid?
The UL certificate is valid for 1 year, and the holder needs to pay an annual fee and annual tracking inspection fee, and generally needs to accept a factory audit once a quarter. UL tracking inspection is divided into R and L, and L is mainly used for products related to life safety, such as fire extinguishers, detectors, power equipment, and wires. R products are mainly electrical equipment, such as TV, fan, hair dryer, oven and so on. For Category L products, manufacturers must order the mark directly from UL to be affixed to the product.
