【ACS Migration Test Content 】
According to the French National standard XP P 41-280, the test for the transfer of substances in water must be carried out at 23°C. This helps to assess the impact of organic substances contained in accessories on water quality from different indicators: chlorinated solvents, chlorine-free solvents, GC/MS spectra, total organic carbon, taste, pH, conductivity and chlorine consumption.
- ACS Authentication Precautions?
ACS certification is not required for products made of all-metal materials, but metal materials must be demonstrated to meet the purity and conditions specified in Annex I of the Multisectoral Regulation of 29 May 1997.
If all organic materials of the product components have an ACS certificate of validity or 95% of the water contact area of the premises is made of materials that meet German, British, Belgian or Dutch laws, the product formulation does not need to be reviewed and the product does not need to be tested for substance transfer in water. Then the applicant can obtain the ACS certificate in the shortest time.
- How long is the ACS certification cycle?
It can be divided into the following three situations:
A. All parts in contact with water in the product can provide certification documents to meet ACS regulations, and the cycle is about 4 weeks;
B, a small part of the product in contact with water can not provide certification documents to meet ACS regulations, the cycle is about 2-3 months;
C, single non-metallic materials/components apply for ACS certification, the cycle is about 3-4 months;
