[Introduction to GSK Certification] GSK is the German Heavy Corrosion Protection Quality Assurance Association. The GSK RAL quality mark (Gütezeichen) provides a stronger guarantee for all forward-thinking individuals. The RAL quality mark RAL-GZ662 ensures tested defect-free coating standards, thus providing future-oriented solutions for the main water supply networks of drinking water, wastewater, and natural gas. It is only awarded to manufacturers that meet the strict quality assurance requirements of GSK's quality and inspection regulations. Its certification scope includes: epoxy powder coatings, spraying processes, and coated anti-corrosion valves and fittings. [Certification Standards] The RAL-GZ662 standard is divided into three parts: 1. RAL-GZ662/1: Special quality and testing regulations for epoxy powder coatings. RAL-GZ662/2: The provisions in this section apply to the quality assurance and testing requirements of processes that are critical to the coating. RAL-GZ662/3: The provisions in this section apply to the special quality and testing requirements of products (valves and fittings with powder coatings). Mainly checks aspects such as coating thickness, appearance quality, impact resistance, adhesion, etc.; The applicable coating requirement is that the coating must be GSK certified.
