【UPC/CUPC Introduction 】
UPC/CUPC certification is the United States and Canadian market very authoritative sanitary and building materials product certification, UPC means uniform plumbing code(unified plumbing code), the front of the "c" refers to the Canadian standard. The certification is issued by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), short for International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. Headquartered in California, USA, it is a non-profit organization.
Note: Drinking water contact parts or products must meet both NSF61 and low lead standards (NSF372 or AB1953) when applying for UPC/CUPC certification.

【UPC/CUPC Certification Process 】
What is the difference between UPC and CUPC certification?
UPC is the United States for sanitary pipe products certification, obtain the certification can be sold in the United States market.
The "C" in front of the UPC becomes CUPC, which means that the product is also recognized in Canada, so products with CUPC certification can be sold in the United States and Canada.
Please select the corresponding certification according to the market positioning of your product. Compared with UPC, CUPC will have an additional product evaluation fee, and other fees will not be increased.
How long is the UPC/CUPC certificate valid?
The validity period of the certificate is 1 year, annual fee is required, and factory audit and sampling testing are required every year. Depending on the type of product, IAPMO will conduct one or more inspections of the production plant and the inventory warehouse. Most products, such as artificial stone basins and shower rooms, are inspected only once a year; For faucets, braided hose, etc., factory inspection twice a year;
