2. All organic materials in product components must have valid ACS certificates or 95% of the materials used in water contact areas must meet French ACS standards. If only a small portion of the materials in contact with water complies with the laws of Germany, the UK, Belgium, or the Netherlands, then the product formula does not need to be reviewed, and the product does not need to undergo water substance transfer testing. Therefore, the applicant can obtain the ACS certificate in the shortest time.
3. In addition, for some supporting products, such as lubricants, after formula verification, CLP (Proof of Compliance with Positive Lists) can also be issued, which complies with the list of allowed substances.
4. For inorganic materials such as metals, glass, and ceramics, as well as substances like pigments and carbon black, although there are no corresponding ACS certificates, they must also meet the purity requirements for such substances in France.
